We are a group of like-minded musicians (or people who just like music) who voluntarily want to include people, learn from them, teach, befriend and make music. We all live in and around north Herts, i.e. Hitchin, Letchworth, Baldock and surrounding villages. We are OPEN to anyone in the community who would like to escape the challenges of life every now and again, make some music, learn about ourselves, others and music in general, and in short, remember what having fun was like. Typically, we meet every other Wednesday at the chapel in Heathfield Rd, Hitchin. See 'News' for details of our next get together. We start from around 7pm, setting up, and start playing about 7:30pm. We normally start packing up around 9:30pm. Although we are more 'rock' oriented than other styles, we are open to trying just about anything. The only reservation is : it has to be relatively simple to learn and play. Oh, and one final thing : there is no cost involved for the hire of the chapel, etc, so in these times of economic challenges, dont worry about that. |
